WIP Salome: Building a torso by FreakStyleBJD WIP Salome: Building a torso by FreakStyleBJD
So, I've started with a new body. I'm using Formofit/LaDoll clay and if all goes as planned, she's going to be a 46 cm doll when she's done.

As I said in my journal, I'm about to cut her open and get her core out (gosh, it sounds gory when I say it like that @_@). Lucky for me, the first stage - cutting off her arms and legs - went great and I'm absolutely confident *cough-wheez-cough* that stage 2 is going just as well.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

This looks incredible! Finally a curvy body with small breasts. I'll be eagerly waiting to see more of this~

Thanks. I love the look of small breasts myself and couldn't really find a doll with the bodytype I was looking for. Being a dollartists has it advantages :D.

I'm excited to see as well. Sculpting a doll is like, like slowly opening a beautifully wrapped package: you don't know what's inside, but you hope it's going to be great. Thank you!

Thanks! I've cut the torso in half, got the core out and put her back in one piece. Operation going as planned. Yay.

Glad you like her ^^. I shortened her ribcage a little: the area between her clavicle and breasts was too big. Now, she looks a bit more clunky (until I'm going to fix that), but at least I'm able to make armpits.
